Watched ' on the & enjoyed the way he wove enough states of the human condition into a mildly amusing if a little sentimental in places tale about a man carrying on after his wife had died of cancer.

It covers death, suicide, drug use & abuse, old age, senility, mental health, work, crime, judgement, meaningless in the face of loss, bullying, sex workers, animal companionship all with a suffocating darkness alleviated by a gradual hopeful dawning through the series.
